Acceptance and general conditions of use of the website
The conditions that the owner puts at the service of the users are accepted by them, of each and every one of the conditions that are incorporated in this legal notice.
The user of the website commits to:
- Use the contents or services on the website in a legal manner, and not to make use of them without the express consent of the owner.
- Not to introduce programs, viruses or other malware agents that could interrupt or alter the use of the website.
- Not to spread images, videos, texts or other contents of this website without the express consent of its owner.
GLIDERKEEPER is not responsible for any damages or losses that may occur to the user arising from access to this website. Likewise, the owner expressly prohibits the illicit and unauthorised use of its contents, which in turn may derive administrative, civil and criminal liabilities.
Intellectual property
In accordance with what is established by the law of intellectual property, all the contents exposed on this website comply with the legal requirements demanded by such provisions. The contents, as well as designs, colours, codes, logos, illustrations, movements, texts, images and the like are the property of the owner of the website. Likewise, brands, logos and texts are protected by law and in no case will they be used or treated without the express written authorisation of the owner. The use of the website by the user does not imply in any case assignment of any right of intellectual and/or industrial property.
Data protection policy
Legislation. In compliance with article 12 of the European Data Protection Regulation, regarding the transparency of information, communication and procedures for exercising the rights of the interested party, and article 13 regarding the information that should be provided when the personal data is obtained from the interested party.
Responsible for the treatment. GLIDERKEEPER (Marta Teresa López López), tax ID 32759402L, Calle Tahona 5, Bloque 3B, Piso 3B, 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid, España. E-mail: m.lopez@gliderkeeper.com.
Data we collect. This website only collects the data you type into its forms:
- Contact form: your name, your e-mail address, your country and the message you write.
- Newsletter subscription: your e-mail address and your country.
- Dealer application: your name, your e-mail address, your country, the name of your shop or company, its website (optional) and the message you write.
The forms are sent to our own mail endpoint and delivered to us by e-mail. We also send you a copy of your own submission to the address you typed, so you have written proof of what you sent us; that copy goes only to you. No account is created and no profile is built.
Providing this data is voluntary, but the fields marked as required are essential for us to help you: without them we cannot reply to your message or add you to the newsletter. We collect no special categories of data and this website is not addressed to children under 14.
Server logs and visit statistics. Like any web server, ours writes a line for every request: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. We use those logs to keep the site running, to protect it against abuse and to produce aggregate visit statistics — how many people come, from which countries and which pages they read. The legal basis here is our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used and keeping it secure, not your consent. The logs never leave our server, are not shared with third parties and are deleted after 90 days. You are not identified individually and no profile is built.
Purpose of the treatment and legal basis. Each piece of data is processed for one specific purpose, with its own legal basis. We do not use the data from one form for the purpose of the other:
| Processing | Purpose | Legal basis (art. 6 GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Contact form | Answering your enquiry | Your consent, art. 6(1)(a) |
| Newsletter | Sending you news about our products and services | Your consent, art. 6(1)(a) |
| Dealer application | Assessing your application and replying with conditions and pricing | Your consent, art. 6(1)(a) |
| Server logs | Keeping the site running and secure, and producing aggregate statistics | Legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(f) |
Legitimisation. For the forms, the interested party gives consent by filling them out and sending us the information. You may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal: just write to m.lopez@gliderkeeper.com or, for the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link included in every mailing. We will not send you marketing messages just because you wrote to us through the contact form; that requires you to subscribe explicitly.
Conservation of data. Messages received through the contact form are kept while the enquiry is open and for one year after it is closed, in case you need to pick it up again. Newsletter data is kept until you ask to be removed. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Once those periods elapse the data is erased, unless it must be kept blocked to address possible legal liabilities during the applicable limitation periods.
Recipients and processors. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. Our web hosting and e-mail provider does access it, as a processor and solely in order to provide us with their service, under the contract required by article 28 GDPR. Data may also be disclosed to courts and public authorities where there is a legal obligation to do so.
International transfers. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. The one indirect exception: the website's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your IP address reaches Google LLC (USA) whenever you open a page. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. This is detailed in the cookie notice.
Rights of the interested party. You have the right to:
- Access: know what data of yours we process and obtain a copy.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten"): ask us to delete it when, among other reasons, it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Restriction of processing: ask that we only keep it in order to bring or defend legal claims.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Portability: receive the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and transmit it to another controller.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as explained above.
Exercising these rights is free of charge. We will reply within one month of receiving your request, extendable by two further months if the request is particularly complex, in which case we would let you know.
Right not to be subject to automatic individual decisions, including the preparation of profiles. Individual automated decisions are not made on the user, nor are profiles developed that produce legal effects or significantly affect the user in a similar way.
Where to exercise the rights. To exercise any of them, write to us at m.lopez@gliderkeeper.com or send your request in writing to Marta Teresa López López, Calle Tahona 5, Bloque 3B, Piso 3B, 28223 Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid, España, stating which right you wish to exercise. We will only ask you to prove your identity if we have reasonable doubts about who is writing to us, and in that case we will point you to the least intrusive way of doing so; there is no need to send us a copy of your ID up front.
Security measures. Taking into account the state of the art, the application costs, and the nature, scope, context and purposes of the treatment, as well as risks of variable probability and severity for the rights and freedoms of natural persons, GLIDERKEEPER applies the appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee a level of security appropriate to the risk.
Treatment based on the consent of the affected party. Apart from the server logs described above, which rest on legitimate interest, this website collects no personal data without your consent.
Duty of confidentiality. In accordance with article 5.1 f) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GLIDERKEEPER undertakes to treat your personal data in an absolutely confidential manner and to use it only for the purposes indicated.
Inaccuracies of the data obtained directly from the interested party. For the purposes provided for in article 5.1 d) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, personal data that is inaccurate with respect to the purposes for which it is processed will not be attributable to the data controller if you have not exercised your right of rectification.
Right to claim. In the event that you are not satisfied with the processing of your data, you can direct your claims to the Data Protection Authorities — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
